Church Bins

We are sorry to inform you that there will no longer be a skip for churchyard waste – in its place we have provided two brown bins and a black bin. The cost of the skip has increased, like everything else and the church simply cannot afford the skip hire any longer.

Unfortunately, what made things worse was the amount of fly tipping, resulting in the waste having to be sorted, with an increased cost. Please note that the brown bins are for flowers/garden waste only and the papers used to wrap flowers and artificial flowers must be put in the black bin.

Please do not put dog waste in any of the bins. If the bins are not used for the correct waste, they will not be emptied.

We do hope that this new initiative will not cause inconvenience when visiting the churchyard.
